Relationship Officer Preferred Banking

To strengthen our team in the Retail Banking Department, we are looking for a passionate Relationship Officer Preferred Banking.

The Relationship Officer Preferred Banking reports to the Branch Manager. The Relationship Officer Preferred Banking supports the Branch Manager in providing expert advice, support, and development of professional customer relationships.

What will you be doing?

Management support

• You assist the Branch Manager in developing and maintaining the preferred client base and building long-term relationships with clients as a foundation for the cross-selling of our products and services.

Sales, service, and management responsibility

• You act as the first point of contact for the preferred clients, and approach identified potential and existing clients to present and sell the financial products.
• You will review financial information and client needs, and advise current and prospective clients on banking products and services that best suit their needs (e.g., checking and savings accounts, credit cards, loans, etc.).
• You are responsible for opening, closing, and/or changing accounts, following client onboarding guidelines and processes
• You manage your personal portfolio and are the first point of contact for existing clients in this portfolio.
• You support clients in managing their bank accounts and finances; refer clients to internal financial experts when needed.

Client management

• You are responsible for the credit management of the preferred client credit portfolio.

Reporting

• You make periodic reports regarding contact with prospects.
• You identify backlogs and overdrafts and report on this.

What do we ask for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration ideally.
• Banking courses Nibe, Welten (MFD, MBS).
• Three years of work experience in a commercial position.
• Good command of the Dutch/English language.
• Knowledge of and experience with MS Office package.
• Knowledge of banking products.
• Sales and Service Techniques.
