Compensation & Benefits Officer
At the Human Resource Management Department, we are looking for a passionate Compensation & Benefits Officer.
The Human Resource Officer reports to the Manager Human Resource Management. As a Compensation & Benefits Officer, you are responsible for processing and keeping all HR administration systems up-to-date, in order to contribute to the optimum employee experience.
What will you be doing?
Managing personnel administration
- You manage the automated personnel files.
- You manage the archive, complete the files, create digital files, and store them.
- You provide information on request, and you take care of updating the archive.
- You ensure entering and/or changing personnel data, and keep the personnel files up-to-date.
- You are responsible for the time-tracking administration of the temporary workers, and you supervise the timely payment of temporary workers.
- You take care of the attendance and leave management, and you prepare the periodic overviews.
- You manage the C•CURE system, and provide access via C•CURE, after instruction.
Processing payroll & pensions
- You draw up a payroll processing schedule.
- You perform the monthly salary and pension calculations and payments.
- You ensure efficient and careful payroll and pension administration.
- You collect and process attendance, overtime, leave, and illness data, make inquiries, and correct inaccuracies.
- You apply rules regarding premiums and deductions.
- You prepare journal entries with regard to salaries, deductions, etc.
- You prepare statements of changes.
- You are responsible for having overviews/proposals approved, and for explaining any corrections that have been made.
- You prepare the levy/deduction with regard to taxes and social legal obligations.
Healthcare facilities administration
- You are responsible for the administrative processing of medical facilities.
- You provide and register warranty letters.
- You are responsible for archiving invoices.
- You keep the healthcare cost accounting records for quarterly and/or half-yearly figures.
Support and advice
- You advise and inform employees and managers about issues related to the Collective Labor Agreement provisions and other salary-related questions.
- You provide information to the department managers regarding human resources.
- You prepare draft and standard letters for overtime requests, etc.
Transitory account reconciliation
- You are responsible for the reconciliation of the accounts for the quarterly and annual audit by IAD, and you provide data for the annual budgeting.
HRMIS
- You provide the Board of Directors, the HRM Manager, the HRM Advisors, the Branch Managers, and the department managers with information derived from the payroll system and the personnel administration.
- You collect data for the Collective Labor Agreement negotiations and ensure the implementation of what has been agreed in the Collective Labor Agreement.
Reporting
- You report the progress of the work.
- You prepare the periodic MIS reports.
What do we ask for?
- Completed Higher Professional Education (HBO) in Human Resource Management, Business Economics, or Business Administration.
- HR Payroll Administration and Management Training.
- Knowledge of the Collective Labor Agreement and the generally applicable rules in the field of labor law and tax legislation.
- Knowledge and experience with MS Office, Salary Systems
- Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
