Are you between the ages of 12 and 25, and do you not yet hold a Student Account? Easily handle all your banking affairs with the Hakrinbank Student Account coming with a debit card.
With a Hakrinbank Student Account you can easily and quickly enjoy:

Investment costs for opening a Student Account are SRD 25.-. You pay SRD 20.- to replace your current debit card with our new Student Debit Card.

Upon reaching the age of 25, the account is converted into a “regular” checking account. The conditions that apply here therefore also apply.
What do you need to open a Student Account?
- A student card, or other proof of registration from your school. VOJ students must have a statement issued by the bank, signed and stamped by the school principal.
- A valid proof of identity, such as an ID card/passport, or Surinamese driver’s license. If none of these documents are available for VOJ students, the legal representative must be present with a family booklet, and a photo of the prospective account holder.
- Underage students (younger than 21 years) require a power of attorney from the legal representative. Power of attorney forms are available at the counter, and can be submitted to be signed.
