Proper preparation for your holiday or business trip also includes taking out travel insurance. Unforeseen events, such as an accident, or an acute illness entail high costs. Travel insurance offers a solution. Travel insurance usually consists of a combined luggage and travel accident insurance, supplemented with coverage for medical assistance in the event of an acute illness. The insurance is generally taken out on the basis of combinations, whereby certain insured sums are stated by category; the premium is calculated by combination per day.
