Liability Insurance

Liability insurance reimburses legal damage that you or your family members accidentally inflict on other persons or their possessions. Accidentally, because no one wants to intentionally cause damage. Yet it sometimes happens that your dog runs into the street and bites a passerby, or that your son accidentally kicks a ball through your neighbor’s window.

The covered risks concern coverage against the financial consequences of the liability insurance for damage caused to third parties by:

• children under the age of 16;
• domestic servants, for example, the maid, or gardener;
• pets.

For an insured amount of up to SRD 5,000.- per event, you pay a premium of SRD 20.- per annum, excluding turnover tax, and costs.
