With the Hakrinbank credit card of the Master Card brand, we offer you extra spending space, whereby you can always make payments up to a pre-agreed limit. You can make payments using your credit card throughout the month, and only pay back in full or in installments on the 28th of the month. Your limit will be determined in consultation with you.

The Hakrinbank credit card is a secured credit card. It is a regular credit card with all the associated benefits. The only thing that comes with it is the coverage that must be provided by the customer. This coverage usually consists of a blocked credit card savings account equal to the limit, or even mortgage coverage. The cover provided will remain valid until the credit card is cancelled. This means that it cannot be used to make repayments on the credit card.
Some unique benefits of the Hakrinbank credit card.
Online overview of transactions: The Hakrinbank offers you the option to view your transactions directly via our Card Inquiry Portal in addition to your monthly account statement.
To log in to the Credit Card Inquiry Portal:
- Click MY HAKRINBANK on the top right corner of your screen.
- Click Log In under Credit Card Inquiry
In addition, you can download the app (Caribbean Cards Mobile) from the Google Play Store or the App Store to gain easier access to your credit card overview.
Redemption options: You can repay your Hakrinbank credit card for the full outstanding amount on the 28th of the month. If the 28th of the month falls on a Sunday or public holiday, settlement will always take place on the last business day prior to this date. We also offer you the option of a redemption in installments on favorable terms. Every month, one twelfth (1/12) part of the outstanding amount will be debited from your checking or savings account with the Hakrinbank. With the redemption installments, interest is calculated on transactions carried out in the previous month.

Guarantor program: Unique at Hakrinbank is the possibility as a non-cardholder to apply for a credit card for third parties, for example for a child studying abroad. You can monitor your son’s or daughter’s expenses online via the Card Inquiry Portal, and pay the credit card from your account.
Extra card: Would you like to have an extra Hakrinbank credit card, for example for your partner? We offer you that opportunity.
You can opt for a shared limit or a separate limit.
Temporary limit increase: It may happen that you need more spending space than your current limit allows. Or maybe you want to reach your agreed limit sooner. In these cases, we offer you the option of temporarily increasing your limit or making an additional interim redemption on your credit card.
To this end, you can send a bank e-mail via your Hakrinbank internet banking account. Or you can visit the branch nearest to you to complete an order form. There are costs associated with this service.
Speed: You can receive your Hakrinbank credit card within a maximum of 3 (three) business days after your application has been submitted in full. Applications submitted through one of our branches will be processed within five business days.
Instant Alerts: You will immediately receive an e-mail with every transaction that is made using your Hakrinbank credit card. Instant alerts mainly serve to immediately identify possible fraudulent transactions using your credit card, so that damage can be prevented.
To be eligible for a Hakrinbank credit card, you must hold a USD checking or savings account with Hakrinbank. If you do not yet hold an account, it can be opened when you apply for your Hakrinbank credit card.
You must submit the following documents with your application:
- an employer’s statement, or a Chamber of Commerce extract, not older than one month.
- a copy of your valid ID.
- a fully completed and signed credit card application form.
You can submit your documents to any branch of Hakrinbank as well as to the Head Office at Dr. S. Redmondstraat 11-13.
