Liability Insurance
When one is held liable, this could open access to their assets. It may involve minor damage, but it can also be about very large amounts. The need for the protection of these assets now lies in the origin of the liability insurance. This is where private property is protected.
This insurance provides coverage against damage caused by the insured party to third parties through an unlawful act, carelessness, and negligence committed in the capacity of a private person.
Under the liability insurance, the following are covered:
- the policyholder;
- the spouse who is living together with them;
- live-in unmarried (foster) children;
- minor (foster) children living away from home;
- live-in parents or parents-in-law of the insured person.

Coverage of the financial consequences of liability for damage caused to third parties by:

- housekeepers;
- pets,
Premium rate:
For a maximum insured amount of SRD.20,000.- per event, you pay a premium of SRD 65.- per annum, excluding turnover tax, and costs.
