Approval Officer
To strengthen our team in the Retail Banking Department, we are looking for a passionate Approval Officer.
The Approval Officer reports to the Retail Banking Manager. The Approval Officer is responsible for assessing credit applications for creditworthiness, and approving or submitting them for approval, in order to ensure effective risk management.
What will you be doing?
Credit application assessment
- You critically assess the credit application based on the necessary client information and recommend this for approval, or approve it yourself depending on the granted lending limit.
Document control and handling
- You check the draft application for mortgage deeds from the civil-law notary.
- You handle an incoming cancellation request.
Reporting
- You prepare valwwwion reports for lending.
- You are responsible for screening submitted valwwwion reports, construction budgets, and local assessments, and you carry out construction inspections.
- You report on the progress of activities.
What do we ask for?
- Higher Professional Education (HBO) work and thinking level.
- Three years of relevant work experience with lending.
- Banking courses Nibe, Welten (MFD, MBS).
- Good command of the Dutch/English language.
- Knowledge of and experience with MS Office package.
